The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has today issued fresh summons to Former Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiangi to appear on Tuesday 7th March 2023 at its headquarters to shed more light on his claims that the Police had raided his home on February 9th 2023.
The security agency issued a fresh summon today 6th March 2023 to Matiangi's lawyer Dunstan Omari indicating that "failure to comply with the requisition constitutes an offense liable to prosecution."

Mr. Sang stated that he is investigating allegations of Publication of false Information contrary to section 23 of the Computer Misuse and Cyber Crimes Act 2018 amongst other offenses in regard to the alleged raid at his home on 9th February 2023.
"I have reasons to believe that Matiangi can assist me in my investigations," he said.
Dr. Fred Matiangi jetted back into the country from abroad on Saturday after failing to honor such summon last week.
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has also opened up an investigation into Matiangi's wealth accumulation since he joined the government 10 years ago, further deepening his woes.
